Summers in Şanlıurfa get very hot; if the server room air conditioner stops for a day, servers, recorders and switches heat up quickly. Checking cooling, ventilation and temperature alerts before the heat sets in prevents unexpected outages in midsummer.

Have the server room air conditioner's filter cleaned, and check that nothing is blocking the outdoor unit.
If you have only one air conditioner, think about what happens if it stops; plan a second cooling unit or at least an alert system.
Check whether there is a gauge showing the temperature in the room and inside the cabinet, and who it notifies when the temperature goes too high.
Check that the cabinet doors and fan units work and that the fans are not clogged with dust.
If there are tangled piles of cable blocking airflow inside the cabinet, have them tidied up.
Check the condition of the UPS batteries; high temperatures shorten battery life.
If you have put recorders in a closed cabinet or on a closed shelf, leave space for ventilation.
Check the housing temperature of outdoor cameras on sun-facing walls, and look for glare in their daytime image.
If the server room window gets direct sun, consider solar control film or a shutter.

The target temperature depends on the operating range stated by the equipment manufacturer. We plan the room to stay cool at a steady temperature and to alert the person in charge when the temperature rises.

My recorder is inside a cabinet. Is that a problem?

A closed, airless cabinet can cause the device to overheat in summer. If the cabinet has no air inlet and outlet, you need to either move the device elsewhere or add a fan to the cabinet.
